OutSec FileManager© is an award-winning* innovative way to send and receive files utilising an internet browser on client PCs, both Windows and Macs. You can also submit soundfiles direct from an Apple iPhone using our unique Dictamus software, available from iTunes and iStore.
We place the highest priority on the security and privacy of our users. Features include:
- all data is exchanged over a secure connection using industry standard SSL protocol with 128 bit encryption (the same used by online banking systems).
- authenticity of OutSec FileManager website is confirmed by a digital certificate issued by Thawte. You can check our certificate's validity by clicking on the Thawte logo on each page.
- a secure user name and password is issued to each individual in order to access the information kept on FileManager.
- we also use a number of other undisclosed security features which further protect and limit access.
OutSec FileManager© removes the need for email, zipping and compression. It also speeds up file transfer and avoids corruption and loss of data.
Firewalls are not an issue. Nothing will conflict with existing systems as no software is installed.
We are very proud of our OutSec Server. This server is housed in a nuclear bunker in Kent and is quite literally bomb-proof. The reliability of this server system is extremely high with matching levels of security.
Clients are issued with a password and log-in name which is unique. This gives access to their own secure site on the OutSec server. Once clients have logged in to their area through their browser they can move files as if it were to another folder on their own desktop.
All client files sent to OutSec FileManager© are stored in a secure password-protected area and they create an immediate automatic email confirmation to an email address. All emails can also be copied to another email address such as a secretary or home PC.
Once work has been transcribed, another email is sent notifying the work as ready for collection. The client logs back on to OutSec FileManager© and copies the file back onto their PC or network.
FileManager has a unique client area accessed by a Master Menu that will provide full reporting functions normally associated only with Workflow systems. You can see how much you or your department are using OutSec, what the costs are, the turnaround times as well as create additional accounts and view historic invoice data.
