OutSec has a very clear pricing structure. The simple fact is we can all speak considerably faster than we type, as demonstrated by these stats: “The average person types between 38 and 40 words per minute” [i]; and a “good rate of speech ranges between 140 -160 words per minute” [ii]. Pricing is based on the premise that good quality dictation will take approximately 3-4 times its length to transcribe. Due to the difference between talking and writing means typists also edit and perfect the transcript to ‘read’ properly. Finally a team leader proof reads the document for accuracy. Prices vary depending on the service you require.
Please also note that you will be allocated your own dedicated typist so that she/he will become more familiar with your personal style of dictation. We believe this is essential in providing a first-class transcript.
Standard Service: £1.20 per minute of dictation (24 hour turnaround)
Priority: £1.50 per minute of dictation (immediate turnaround)
As an example a 15 minute file will take a typist an hour to type and cost you just £18.

NB Social Distancing
Where possible, individual desks rather than bench desk systems will allow you to physically separate work spaces to allow for a two-metre space between each one. With bench desks, try to leave an empty workspace between occupied desks, placing staff in a zigzag pattern, so that co-workers are not face-to-face or directly next to each other.
Payment terms are 30 days from the date of invoice. Invoices are emailed to clients on the first Monday of the month. OutSec reserve the right to charge 8% above the Bank of England base rate on late payment. Payments may be made by bank transfer, credit card or PayPal to OutSec Services Ltd.
