...or a mobile phone
Digital dictation machines are revolutionising the workplace. Immediate transfer of sound files from one location to another is easy and with mobile phones now able to record and send files too you may be able to find yet another use for that Blackberry or iPhone in your pocket.
How does it work?
- A good quality digital sound recorder or mobile phone such as a Blackberry or iPhone is used to create a sound file.
- The sound file is submitted to the OutSec FileManager system via the client's password protected Client Page.
- FileManager sends an automatic email confirming receipt of the sound file to the client (and their secretary if required).
- Following transcription the client receives a further automatic email from FileManager that the work is ready for collection from their Client Page.
- The client logs in to their Client Page on FileManager and downloads the completed Word document/s to their PC or mobile.

By using the existing office infrastructure, anyone with a PC, mobile phone and Internet access can take advantage of this new innovative technology.
